Ingredients for Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich
Method
Directions for Preparing Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich
Prepare the Spice Mixture
In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to create the blackening seasoning.
Season the Mahi Mahi
Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the Mahi Mahi fillets.
Cook the Mahi Mahi
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned Mahi Mahi fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a blackened crust.
Prepare the Sandwich
While the fish is cooking, toast the brioche buns until golden brown. Once cooked, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a blackened Mahi Mahi fillet, a slice of tomato, and a generous dollop of tartar sauce.
Serve
Top with the other half of the bun, serve with lemon wedges, and enjoy your Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich!
