Prep
Chill glass
Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
Mixing
Add vodka, pomegranate liqueur, pomegranate juice, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, simple syrup, and egg white (if using) into a cocktail shaker.
Dry shake (no ice) vigorously for 10–15 seconds if using egg white. This helps emulsify and create a silky foam.
Add the cup of ice to the shaker and shake hard for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is well chilled (shaking with ice also chills and dilutes to proper strength).
Strain the cocktail through a fine-mesh strainer (or use the shaker’s strainer) into the chilled martini/coupe glass. Double-strain if you used egg white to remove ice shards and foam bits.
Garnish & Serve
Drop the tablespoon of pomegranate seeds gently into the center of the cocktail so they float. Add the lime wheel or twist on the rim or floated on top.
Serve immediately. Optionally, give the guest a small spoon so they can fish out the seeds as they drink.
