Preparing the Mahi Mahi

Season the Fish
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon zest. Rub this mixture onto both sides of the mahi mahi fillets.

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).

Grill the Fish
Place the seasoned mahi mahi fillets on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until fully liquefied.

Add Garlic
Add the minced garlic cloves to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Plate the Dish
Once the mahi mahi is cooked, remove it from the grill and place it on serving plates.

Garnish and Enjoy
Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
