Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combining Ingredients
- 4
Combine Pasta, Chicken, and Sauce
Add the drained fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly. Slice the grilled chicken and arrange on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
