Chill glass (optional)
If desired, place the glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving to get it extra cold.

Remove the glass from the freezer or use a room-temperature glass. Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the glass, filling it about three-quarters full.

Open a 12 fl oz bottle or can of chilled Coca-Cola. Hold the bottle or can close to the glass and pour slowly down the side of the glass to minimize foaming.

Top up so the beverage level is about 1/2 inch from the rim. If excessive foam forms, pause for a few seconds to allow it to settle, then continue pouring.

If using, squeeze the optional lime wedge lightly over the drink for a subtle citrus note, then drop the wedge into the glass or use a lime slice to garnish the rim.

Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer if desired.
