Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Diabla Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add Sauce Ingredients
Stir in the tomato sauce, minced chipotle peppers, cayenne pepper, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. Stir occasionally to ensure the shrimp are well coated in the sauce.
Serve
Serve the shrimp hot over a bed of cooked rice and with the corn or flour tortillas on the side.
