Ribeye Steak

Method

Prepare Ribeye Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the grass-fed ribeye steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450°F (232°C) for at least 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Make Salsa Criolla

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced red onion, diced tomato, and diced green bell pepper.

  2. 6

    Add Flavor

Add the chopped cilantro, lime juice, and Pedro Ximenez sherry. Mix well and let it sit for at least 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.

Prepare French Fries

  1. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the cut fries to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-6 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 9

    Drain and Season

Remove fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
