Prepare Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients listed above and ensure the passion fruit is pureed. If using fresh passion fruit, scoop out the pulp and blend until smooth.
Mix the Base
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Mijenta Blanco Tequila, 0.5 oz of La Travesia Mezcal, 1 oz of passion fruit puree, and 1 oz of lime juice.
Add Sweetness and Spice
Pour in 0.5 oz of Hagave Spicy Nectar to the cocktail shaker to add a spicy sweetness to the mix.
Shake It Up
Fill the shaker with ice, cover it, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
Serving
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass or a rocks glass filled with ice.
Garnish
Garnish the drink with a lime wheel on the rim of the glass and a sprinkle of chili powder on top for added flavor.
