Prepare Fritter Batter

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Incorporate Conch and Green Onions
Fold in the chopped conch meat and chopped green onions into the batter until evenly distributed.
Make Cayenne Powdered Sugar

Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and cayenne pepper until well combined. Set aside for dusting.
Fry Fritters

Fry the Batter
Using a tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of the fritter batter into the hot oil. Fry in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Cook Until Golden Brown
Fry the fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Drain Excess Oil
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Once the fritters have cooled slightly, dust them generously with the cayenne powdered sugar mixture before serving.
