Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Shake off excess water and dry using a salad spinner or patting with a clean kitchen towel. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Make the Croutons (if not store-bought)
If using homemade croutons, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut 4 slices of bread into cubes and toss them with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of everything bagel seasoning. Spread the cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through.
- 3
Assemble the Salad
Add the croutons to the bowl with the chopped romaine lettuce. Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine, ensuring all the lettuce and croutons are coated with the dressing.
- 4
Add Parmesan Cheese
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the salad. Toss lightly again to mix it in, if desired.
