Mint Simple Syrup Preparation

1

Prepare Mint Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved.

2

Add Mint Leaves

Once the sugar has dissolved, add the fresh mint leaves to the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

3

Cool and Strain

Remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup cool completely. Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean container, discarding the mint leaves. Your mint simple syrup is ready!
