1

Chill the bottle

Place the 375 ml soju bottle in the refrigerator for at least 2–4 hours before serving. For best texture and flavor, soju is served very cold (near 0–4°C). If you need it quickly, submerge the sealed bottle in an ice water bath for 15–20 minutes.

2

Prepare serving pieces

Arrange 4–6 small soju glasses or cups on a clean tray or table near where guests will drink. If using a carafe, have it chilled as well or place some ice in it briefly and discard before pouring so that the soju stays cold without dilution.

3

Open and pour

Carefully remove the cap. Pour soju into individual shot glasses or small cups, filling each about three-quarters to allow room to sip. A 375 ml bottle yields roughly 6 small 50–60 ml pours (servings), depending on pour size.

4

Serve with ice (optional)

If guests prefer slightly diluted and colder soju, place 1 ice cube in each glass immediately before pouring. Note: too much ice will dilute the flavor quickly.

5

Add citrus (optional)

Offer lemon or lime wedges on the side. A tiny squeeze into the glass brightens the flavor — advise guests to add to taste.

6

Enjoy responsibly

Encourage small sips or traditional toasts. Keep water available for guests and never drink and drive.
