Preparation
Prepping the Ingredients
Wash and chop the fresh methi leaves and set aside. If using frozen peas, thaw them in warm water. Finely chop the onion and puree the tomato.
Cooking
Adding Aromatics
Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
Incorporating Spices
Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for about a minute.
Tomato Purée
Add the pureed tomato and cook until the oil starts to separate from the mixture, about 5-7 minutes.
Adding Peas and Methi
Stir in the green peas and fresh methi leaves. Cook for another 5 minutes until the peas are tender.
Finishing the Curry
Lower the heat and add the heavy cream. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Finally, sprinkle garam masala on top and mix.
Serving
Garnishing
Chop fresh coriander leaves and sprinkle them on top before serving.

Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
