Cocktail

1

Measure and combine

Measure 2 oz Corazón Blanco tequila, 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice, 0.5 oz agave nectar, and 0.5 oz cold water into a cocktail shaker. The small amount of water helps thin the agave so it mixes evenly while keeping the cocktail 'skinny.'

2

Add ice and shake

Add plenty of ice to the shaker (about 6 ice cubes or enough to fill). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosty.

3

Prepare glass

While shaking, rub the cut side of a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks or coupe glass. On a small plate, combine 1 tsp Tajín and 0.5 tsp coarse salt (optional) and press the moistened rim into the mixture to coat evenly. Discard the used lime wedge or reserve for garnish.

4

Strain and serve

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice (about 4 cubes). Double-strain the cocktail into the glass using a Hawthorne or fine mesh strainer to remove ice shards and any pulp. Garnish with the reserved lime wedge on the rim or floated in the drink.

Garnish & Rim

If you prefer a lighter rim, skip the coarse salt and use only Tajín. For a more intense chili-lime flavor, increase Tajín to 1.5 tsp. Reapply the lime wedge to the rim after coating if it has dried before serving.
