Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Pork Belly

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Score the skin of the pork belly in a crosshatch pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat.

2

Season the Pork Belly

In a bowl, mix together the kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the pork belly, ensuring it gets into the scored skin. Drizzle with olive oil and apple cider vinegar.

3

Roast the Pork Belly

Place the pork belly on a rack in a roasting pan, skin side up. Roast in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender.

4

Crisp the Skin

Increase the oven temperature to 450°F (230°C) and roast for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.

5

Rest and Serve

Once done, let the pork belly rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve as a side dish or main course.
