Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Chill glass

Place a coupe or flute in the freezer (or fill with ice water) to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

  2. 2

    Combine base ingredients

Add the Kettle Botanicals Vodka (2 oz), pamplemousse liqueur (0.75 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.5 oz), rosemary syrup (0.5 oz) and two dashes of Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker.

  3. 3

    Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted.

  4. 4

    Strain and top

Discard ice or water from the chilled glass. Fine-strain the shaken cocktail into the chilled coupe or flute, leaving room for the Prosecco. Top gently with 2 oz Prosecco to preserve effervescence. Give a very gentle stir (1–2 rotations) to incorporate.

  5. 5

    Bitters finish

If desired, add one extra small dash of Angostura bitters on top of the foam (or on the surface) for aroma and visual contrast.

Garnish & Serve

  1. 6

Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig tucked into the side of the glass and a thin grapefruit wheel or twist laid on the rim. Add a lemon twist if you want extra citrus oil aroma. Serve immediately.
