Chill the bottle: Place the wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. If you need to chill quickly, submerge the bottle in an ice bucket or large bowl filled with ice and cold water for 20–30 minutes.

Open the bottle 10–15 minutes before serving to allow a little aeration; this helps the floral and fruit aromatics open up and the roundness to show.

Serve temperature: Aim for 8–10°C (46–50°F). If the bottle is colder than this from the ice bath, let it sit upright for 5–10 minutes to reach serving temperature.

Choose a white wine glass with a slightly tapered rim to concentrate the floral and fruit aromas and pour about 120–150 ml (4–5 fl oz) per glass to leave room for swirling.

Garnish each glass (optional): Slide a very thin slice of green apple on the rim or float one thin slice in the glass. For a brighter citrus note, add a small grapefruit twist on the rim (don’t squeeze it into the wine—just let the oils sit on the rim).

Thinly slice the remaining green apple into matchstick-thin slices or thin rounds, toss quickly in a squeeze of lemon if you want to prevent browning, and arrange on the serving board with crackers and baguette slices.

Place the goat cheese log and sliced Manchego/cheddar on the board. If using goat cheese, drizzle 2 tablespoons of honey over a small portion so guests can try sweet + acidic pairing with the wine. Scatter toasted walnuts around the cheeses.

If using grapefruit supremes, arrange a few segments on the board to echo the wine’s grapefruit note. Add a few mint or basil leaves for an aromatic contrast that highlights the wine’s floral hints.
