Method

Blondie Brownie

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

2

Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat, then remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

3

Mix Sugars and Eggs

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add the melted butter and mix well. Then add the eggs, one at a time, stirring until fully incorporated.

4

Add Vanilla

Stir in the vanilla extract until evenly mixed.

5

Combine Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

6

Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the chocolate chips gently until evenly distributed.

7

Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8

Cool

Remove from the oven and allow the blondies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares.

Chocolate Ganache

9

Heat Cream

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.

10

Combine with Chocolate

Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips and let sit for 2-3 minutes.

11

Stir Until Smooth

Whisk the mixture until smooth and glossy. If necessary, return to low heat while stirring until fully melted and combined.

Serve

12

Plate the Blondies

Place a square of the blondie brownie on a plate.

13

Add Ganache

Drizzle a generous amount of chocolate ganache over the blondie.

14

Top with Ice Cream

Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top or beside the blondie brownie.
