Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Coffee Rub

In a small bowl, combine coffee grounds, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the coffee rub.

2

Season the Steak

Rub the coffee mixture generously over both sides of the flat iron steak. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.

3

Cook the Green Beans

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

4

Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.

5

Grill the Gem Lettuce

Cut the gem lettuce in half and brush with olive oil. Place on the grill for about 2-3 minutes until charred and slightly wilted.

6

Serve

Slice the steak against the grain, serve with grilled gem lettuce, blanched green beans, and drizzle with Ti Malice sauce.
