Method
Meat Options (choose 1)
Grilled Chicken Breast (if selected)
If using freshly grilled chicken: preheat grill to medium-high. Season a 1-piece chicken breast with salt and pepper. Grill 5-7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F). Rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly. If using pre-cooked/sliced store chicken, reheat gently in a covered skillet with 1 tbs water over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until warm.
Smoked Turkey or Roast Beef (if selected)
For smoked turkey or roast beef slices: arrange 80 g of slices on a plate. If preferred warm, heat in a skillet over low heat for 1-2 minutes per side or microwave on medium for 15-20 seconds until warm. Season lightly with salt and pepper to taste.
Side Options (choose 1)
House Side Salad
Assemble mixed greens (approx. 2 cups) in a bowl. Add a few cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes halved, and a small sprinkle of salt. Serve with 2 tbs balsamic vinaigrette on the side and a lemon wedge. Toss just before eating.
Fresh Fruit Cup
Combine 1 cup mixed seasonal fruit (e.g., pineapple, melon, berries). Chill until service. Optionally garnish with a mint leaf.
Kettle Chips
Serve 1 bag or 1 portion of kettle chips in a small bowl or paper bag. Provide a napkin.
Smoothie Preparation
Select your smoothie style. Basic berry-banana smoothie: Combine 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup frozen banana, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1 cup almond milk, and 1 tbs honey in a blender. If you want a green smoothie instead, add 1 cup fresh spinach and reduce frozen fruit to maintain thickness (use 3/4 cup frozen strawberries + 1/2 banana).
Add optional ingredients: For thicker texture add 1/2 cup ice (or an extra 1/4 cup frozen fruit). For added fiber/protein, add 1 tsp chia seeds. Adjust sweetness with additional honey or maple syrup to taste.
Blending: Secure lid and blend on high for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth and no chunks remain. Pause and scrape down the sides with a spatula if necessary, then blend again for 10-15 seconds.
Taste and adjust: If too thick, add 1-2 tbs almond milk and blend briefly. If too thin, add a small handful of frozen fruit or ice and re-blend.
Serve: Pour smoothie into a 16 oz glass or to-go cup. Garnish with a strawberry slice on the rim or sprinkle of chia seeds if used. Serve immediately with a straw.
Finishing & Assembly
Plate the selected meat and chosen side together. If serving a salad, place lemon wedge and dressing on the side. If serving chips or fruit cup, place next to meat. Ensure warm items are served warm and cold items chilled.
Deliver the smoothie alongside the plated meat and side. Confirm customer selection of meat and side and any modifications (dressing, temperature, sweetness).
