Rockstar (flavor Varies) Recipe

Chill glass

If possible, place your serving glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the rest of the drink to ensure the beverage stays cold longer.

Prepare simple syrup (if not on hand)

Combine equal parts sugar and water (for example, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water) in a small saucepan. Heat gently, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Cool to room temperature before using. (This yield is more than needed — store extra in refrigerator.)

Fill the chilled serving glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup).

Pour 12 oz of your chosen Rockstar energy drink into the glass over the ice. If you prefer a slightly less intense sweetness/ carbonation, pour gently over the back of a spoon.

Add 1/2 oz fresh lime juice to brighten the flavor and 1/4 oz simple syrup only if you want extra sweetness. Stir gently once to combine — avoid vigorous stirring to preserve carbonation.

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge and optionally a sprig of mint. Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.

If making the alcoholic version, remove or reduce ice so drink doesn't dilute too much: fill glass with 3/4 cup ice (or use a rocks glass).

Pour 1.5 oz vodka into the glass first, then add 1/2 oz fresh lime juice and 1/4 oz simple syrup.

Top with 12 oz Rockstar energy drink, pouring gently to keep carbonation. Stir once gently to incorporate vodka and lime without losing fizz.

Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately. Note: consume alcoholic energy drinks responsibly.
