Method

Prepare fruit purée

1

Blend fruits

Place chopped mango, chopped apple, and fresh raspberries into a blender. Add the fresh lime juice. Blend on high until smooth and well combined, about 30–45 seconds. If the mixture is too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons of water to help it circulate.

2

Taste the purée. If it lacks brightness, add an additional 1 teaspoon of lime juice; if it needs more sweetness, add 1 teaspoon honey or more simple syrup (see balance step).

Sweeten & strain

3

Stir the simple syrup and (optional) honey into the fruit purée until incorporated. If you prefer a very smooth, seed-free texture, pour the purée through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard solids.

Assemble the drink

4

Fill a tall glass with ice (about 1 cup). Add 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vodka or white rum if using.

5

Pour 4–5 tablespoons (about 60–75 ml) of the strained fruit purée over the ice. Top with 120 ml club soda or sparkling water and gently stir once to combine. Adjust sweetness by adding a little more simple syrup if desired.

6

If you prefer a mocktail or less concentrated beverage, use 3 tablespoons purée and increase soda to taste.

Garnish & serve

7

Garnish with a mint sprig and an apple slice or a raspberry on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw or short stirring spoon.
