Method
Prepare Ingredients
Measure and prep
Measure out frozen raspberries and frozen cranberries. Peel and slice the banana. If using rolled oats and you prefer a smoother texture, briefly blitz the oats alone in the blender for 5–8 seconds before adding other ingredients.
Blend Smoothie
Add boosts
Add the chia seeds and the rolled oats (if using). If your fruit is not fully frozen or you prefer a colder drink, add the ice cubes now.
Blend to desired consistency
Secure the blender lid and blend on high for 45–90 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides once if needed. Blend until completely smooth and evenly colored. If the smoothie is too thick, add almond milk in 2-tablespoon increments and pulse until you reach your preferred consistency. If too thin, add 2–3 extra tablespoons of frozen raspberries or a few more ice cubes and blend briefly.
Finish & Serve
Taste and adjust sweetness or brightness: add up to 1 more teaspoon of maple syrup for sweetness or an extra 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice for more tang, then blend briefly (5–10 seconds).
Pour the smoothie into a glass (about 16 oz). Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a couple of raspberries if desired. Serve immediately.
