Method

Prepare Fruit

1

Wash and prep

Rinse all fruit. Peel and seed the guava, peel and chop the mango, hull the strawberries, and chop the pineapple into small chunks. If using fresh oranges, juice them to yield about 1 cup (240 ml) of juice.

2

Place the chopped guava, strawberries, mango, and pineapple in the jar of a blender.

Blend

3

Add the fresh orange juice and 2 tablespoons of simple syrup (or agave) to the blender with the fruit. Add the pinch of salt and the tablespoon of lime juice.

4

Blend on high until smooth, about 45–60 seconds, stopping once to scrape down the sides to ensure even texture. If your blender is small, work in two batches to avoid overfilling.

Adjust Texture & Chill

5

Check consistency. If too thick, add up to 3/4 cup cold water or coconut water and blend briefly to combine. If too thin, add a few ice cubes and pulse to thicken slightly.

6

Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity: add up to 1 more tablespoon simple syrup for sweetness or another 1/2 teaspoon lime juice for brightness, blending briefly after adjustments.

Serve

7

Fill glasses with ice (if desired). Pour the blended Kalia - Lia over the ice, stir gently.

8

Garnish each glass with an orange slice and a mint sprig. Serve immediately for best freshness.
