Method
Cocktail
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker add Citadelle Gin (2 oz), dry vermouth (0.5 oz), orange liqueur (0.25 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.25 oz), simple syrup (0.25 oz), and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
Dry shake (if using egg white)
If you added egg white, dry shake (no ice) vigorously for 10–15 seconds to emulsify and build foam.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (enough to 3/4 full or about 1 cup), secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled and slightly frothy (if egg white used).
Strain
Discard the ice or water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove ice shards and egg white particulates.
Serve
Serve immediately while cold. Sip and enjoy the Citadelle-forward herbal and citrus profile balanced by vermouth and a whisper of sweetness and bitters.
