Preparation Instructions
Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until bubbly. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Shape the Knots
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into small balls. Roll each ball into a rope, then tie it into a knot. Place knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the Knots
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
