Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the bittersweet chocolate and unsalted butter together, stirring until smooth.
Mix Sugar and Eggs
Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add Flavorings
Stir in the Grand Marnier, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until fully incorporated.
Bake the Torte
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the torte has set but is still slightly soft in the center.
Cool
Allow the torte to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Garnish
Once cooled, dust the torte with powdered sugar and serve with fresh berries if desired.
