Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Couscous

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the pearl couscous and a pinch of salt. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 8-10 minutes or until the couscous is tender and the water has been absorbed.

2

Sauté the Garlic

While the couscous is cooking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

3

Combine Ingredients

Once the couscous is cooked, remove it from heat and fluff it with a fork. Add the sautéed garlic, black pepper, lemon juice, and chopped fresh parsley to the couscous. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

4

Serve

Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve warm as a side dish or a light main course.
