Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

1

Prep the Peaches

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place them cut-side up in a baking dish.

2

Make the Bourbon Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the Makers Mark Bourbon, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

3

Prepare the Cream Mixture

In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Set aside.

Assembly

4

Combine Ingredients

Pour the bourbon sauce evenly over the peach halves. Then, spoon the whipped cream mixture over the top of each peach half.

5

Brulee the Topping

Sprinkle the additional granulated sugar over the whipped cream on each peach half. Using a kitchen torch, caramelize the sugar until golden and bubbly. If you don’t have a torch, place the baking dish under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.

Serving

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish the bruleed peaches with fresh mint leaves and serve warm. Enjoy your Makers Mark Peach Brulee!
