Cocktail (each mule)
Garnish & optional
Method
Cocktail (each mule)
Chill and measure
If possible, chill a copper mule mug or highball glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes. Measure 2 oz vodka and 1/2 oz fresh lime juice into a jigger or small measuring tool.
Pour the 2 oz vodka over the ice, followed by the 1/2 oz fresh lime juice.
Top gently with 4 oz ginger beer. Pour slowly down the inside of the glass to retain carbonation.
Give the drink one brief, gentle stir (2–3 rotations) with a bar spoon to combine without flattening the ginger beer.
Garnish & serve
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. If using, add a piece of candied ginger or a thin slice of fresh ginger on a pick and a mint sprig for aroma.
Serve immediately while fizzy. Recommend serving BOGO (buy-one-get-one) promotion instructions separately at point of sale: prepare two mules per order and mark which is complimentary.
