Ribs and Marinade

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine five-spice powder, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

2

Marinate the Ribs

Place the pork ribs in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

3

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).

4

Bake the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Reserve the marinade for basting. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.

5

Glaze and Broil

Remove the foil and brush the ribs with the reserved marinade. Turn on the broiler and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the ribs are caramelized and slightly crispy.

6

Serve

Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your choice of sides.
