Method
Prepare the Chicken Filling
Cook the chicken
In a skillet over medium heat, add ground chicken, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add seasonings
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and Szechuan peppercorns. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until well combined.
Mix in peanuts and green onions
Remove from heat and fold in chopped peanuts and sliced green onions.
Prepare the Wontons
Fry the wontons
In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry wonton wrappers until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
Make the Spicy Aioli
Combine ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice until smooth.
Assemble the Wraps
Serve
Spoon the chicken filling into lettuce leaves, top with crispy wontons, and drizzle with spicy aioli. Enjoy!
