Method

Steak Preparation

1

Season the Steak

Rub the CAB® sirloin with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

2

Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the steak in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

3

Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Crispy Mashed Potatoes Preparation

4

Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

5

Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth.

6

Crisp the Potatoes

Spread the mashed potatoes on a baking sheet. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Vegetable Preparation

7

Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and trim the green beans and carrots. Cut the carrots into thin slices.

8

Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the green beans and carrots. Season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
