Juice Base

Fizz & Chill

Method

Prepare Juice Base

1

Measure and mix juices

Pour 1 cup fresh orange juice, 1/2 cup fresh pineapple juice, and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice into a large measuring cup or cocktail shaker. Stir or gently swirl to combine.

2

Taste the combined juice. The lemon will brighten the blend; adjust acidity by adding up to 1/2 tablespoon more lemon juice if you prefer a tangier profile.

Sweeten and Flavor

3

Add 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon simple syrup, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the juice mixture. If honey is thick, warm it briefly (5–8 seconds) or dissolve it into a tablespoon of warm juice before adding.

4

Stir vigorously for 10–15 seconds until sweeteners are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth. Taste and add an additional 1 teaspoon simple syrup if you prefer it sweeter.

Assemble and Chill

5

Fill a serving glass with 1 cup of ice cubes. Pour the juice mixture over the ice, leaving about 2 tablespoons of space at the top for fizz.

6

Top with 1/2 cup club soda or sparkling water. Gently stir once or twice to combine so you keep the carbonation.

7

If you want the drink extra cold, combine the juice mixture and ice in a shaker, shake briefly (5–6 seconds) and then strain into a glass filled with fresh ice, finishing with the club soda on top.

Garnish and Serve

8

Garnish the glass with 1 thin orange wheel on the rim and a fresh mint sprig tucked into the ice. Clap the mint between your palms first to release its aroma.

9

Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer. Stir lightly before sipping to marry the fizz and juices.
