Cocktail
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz gin, 0.5 oz St. Germain, 0.5 oz Chambord, 1.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice, 0.25 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup).
Shake
Cap the shaker and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted (shaker should sweat).
Strain
Discard ice and water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and fine mesh strainer to remove small ice shards and pulp.
Garnish & Serve
Express the oils of a grapefruit twist over the top of the cocktail by holding the twist skin-side down and giving it a quick twist, then rim the glass with the peel and drop it in. Alternatively, float a thin grapefruit wheel on the surface. If using, gently skewer 2 fresh raspberries on a cocktail pick and rest it across the rim.
Serve immediately. This recipe yields one cocktail; adjust quantities proportionally for multiple servings.
