Method
Cocktail
Add liquids
Add 2 oz Javier’s Reserva Reposado Tequila, 0.75 oz St. Germain, 0.5 oz agave nectar, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, and 1 oz fresh orange juice to the shaker with the muddled jalapeño.
Shake with ice
Fill the shaker with about 1 cup of ice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch and the ingredients are well combined and slightly diluted.
Strain
Double strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or rocks glass (use a fine mesh strainer plus the shaker strainer) to remove jalapeño shards and seeds. If you prefer a slushy chill, serve over fresh large ice in a rocks glass.
Garnish & Serve
If desired, lightly rim the glass with coarse salt or a salted rim mix before pouring: rub the lime wheel around the rim, then dip into salt (use ~0.5 tsp total).
Serve immediately. Advise guests that the drink has a bright, floral sweetness tempered by reposado warmth and a gentle jalapeño heat; stirring briefly will mellow the spice further if needed.
