Method
Cocktail
Prepare glass
If desired, chill a rocks glass or coupe by filling it with ice or placing it in the freezer for a few minutes. Add 4 fresh ice cubes to the serving glass when ready to serve.
Measure and combine
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Javier’s Reserva Blanco Tequila, 0.75 oz Cointreau, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.25 oz agave syrup, and 2 dashes of orange bitters.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted on the outside.
Strain and serve
Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared serving glass over the 4 ice cubes (or into a chilled coupe without ice, if preferred) using a fine-mesh strainer to catch small ice shards and pulp.
Garnish
Express a lime twist over the drink to release oils, then drop a lime wheel or place the twist on the rim as a garnish.
Enjoy
Serve immediately. The drink offers bright citrus, a touch of sweetness from the agave, and the orange warmth from the Cointreau to highlight the blanco tequila.
