Tequila Margarita Base
Garnish & Finish
Method
Prepare Glass
Rim the glass
Run a lime wedge around the outside rim of a rocks or coupe glass (or both if you prefer). Spread the coarse salt on a small plate and gently press the rim into the salt to coat. Set the glass aside.
Mix Cocktail
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (about 3/4 full). Add 2 oz Javier’s Reserva Blanco Tequila, 1 oz Cointreau, 1 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz agave syrup into the shaker.
Shake
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled (shaker should sweat).
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally express a lime peel over the drink for aroma. Serve immediately.
