Main Ingredients

Method

Burger Preparation

1

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

2

Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and form into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing while cooking.

3

Cook the Patties

In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.

4

Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet. On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, a cooked patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, tomato slices, and pickles. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard before placing the top bun.

Fries Preparation

5

Prepare the Fries

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the frozen french fries and fry according to package instructions, typically around 3-5 minutes, until golden and crispy.

6

Season

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste while they are still hot.
