Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Patties
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined. Form into 4 equal patties.
Cook the Patties
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
Make the Gravy
Add beef broth to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables and bring to a simmer. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Combine and Serve
Return the cooked patties to the skillet, spooning the gravy and vegetables over them. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
