Fit Turkey Wrap

In a large pot, heat the water to approximately 65°C (149°F). Add the malted barley and rice to the water, stirring well. Maintain this temperature for about 60 minutes to allow the sugars to extract from the grains.

Mashing

After mashing, raise the temperature to a boil. Once boiling, add the hops and boil for an additional 30 minutes. This process helps to develop the bitterness and flavor of the beer.

Boiling

After the boil, cool the mixture quickly to about 20°C (68°F). Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel and add the yeast. Seal the vessel with an airlock and let it ferment for about 1-2 weeks.

Cooling and Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, siphon the beer into sanitized bottles. Cap the bottles and let them carbonate at room temperature for another week.

Bottling

After carbonation, chill the bottles in the refrigerator and enjoy your homemade Miller Lite!
