Ham and Cheese Sandwich

Sliced turkey, lettuce, tomato, and mustard in a whole wheat wrap.

Fit Turkey Wrap

In a large mash tun, heat 20 liters of water to 70°C (158°F). Add the pale malt and corn grains, stirring well. Maintain the temperature for 60 minutes to allow the sugars to extract.

Mashing

After mashing, sparge the mash with additional heated water to rinse the sugars out. Collect the wort in the brew kettle.

Sparging

Bring the collected wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the hops and boil for 60 minutes. Remove from heat.

Boiling

Cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller to about 20°C (68°F). Transfer to a fermentation vessel.

Cooling

Pitch the lager yeast into the cooled wort and seal the fermentation vessel. Allow it to ferment at around 12°C (54°F) for 2 weeks.

Fermentation

After fermentation, bottle the beer with priming sugar to carbonate. Let it condition for an additional 1-2 weeks.

Bottling

Once carbonated, chill the bottles and enjoy your homemade Miller Lite!
