Method
Gin & Infusion
Make quick strawberry-infused gin (if not using pre-infused)
Slice the 6 oz fresh strawberries. Place slices in a clean jar with the 12 oz unflavored farmer's gin and 1 tablespoon granulated sugar. Seal the jar and shake gently. Let macerate at room temperature for a minimum of 2 hours for a bright quick infusion, or refrigerate for 24–48 hours for a fuller flavor. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bottle and discard solids. This yields about 18 oz strawberry-infused gin; use 6 oz for one serving of the Jam Jar.
If you already have house strawberry-infused gin, measure 6 oz and set aside chilled.
Fresh Lemonade
Juice fresh lemons to obtain 3 oz (about 1.5–2 lemons depending on size). Strain to remove seeds and pulp if desired.
Combine the 3 oz fresh lemon juice with 6 oz cold water and 1.5 oz simple syrup in a pitcher. Stir until fully mixed. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding up to 0.5 oz more simple syrup if desired. Chill until ready to serve.
Assembly & Garnish
Fill a large jam jar or highball glass with 1 cup cubed ice.
Pour 6 oz of the chilled strawberry-infused gin over the ice.
Top with the fresh lemonade (about 9 oz total liquid — the 3 oz lemon juice + 6 oz water mixture and syrup). Pour gently to preserve some effervescence if using chilled soda water alternative (optional).
Gently stir once to combine the gin and lemonade.
Garnish with 3 slices of fresh strawberry, a lemon wheel on the rim, and an optional mint sprig.
Serve with a straw or short spoon. Recommend stirring again before drinking if the mixture sits.
