Cooking Directions
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, shrimp, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, water chestnuts, coriander leaves, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Assemble the Dumplings
Take a dumpling wrapper and place about a tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over the filling, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat this process until all the filling is used.
Steam the Dumplings
Set up a steamer and bring water to a boil. Place the dumplings in the steamer basket, making sure they do not touch each other. Cover and steam for about 8-10 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
Serve
Carefully remove the dumplings from the steamer and serve them hot, with soy sauce or chili oil for dipping.
