Crust Preparation

1

Prepare the Crust

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). In a food processor, crush the Biscoff cookies into fine crumbs. Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with the cookie crumbs until well combined.

2

Form the Crust

Press the cookie-butter mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and let it cool completely.

Filling Preparation

3

Make the Toffee Filling

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and hazelnut spread. Stir continuously for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens and turns a slightly darker color.

4

Assemble the Filling

Slice the bananas into thin rounds. Once the toffee filling has cooled slightly, pour it into the cooled Biscoff crust and spread it evenly. Top with the sliced bananas.

Topping Preparation

5

Prepare the Whipped Topping

In a mixing bowl, combine the crème fraîche and powdered sugar. Whip with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.

6

Finish the Pie

Spread the whipped crème fraîche over the bananas in the pie. Garnish with chocolate shavings on top.

Serving

7

Serve

Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious Banoffee Pie!
