Bacon-washed Alabama Whiskey, Sugar, Bitters
Cook 3-4 strips of bacon until crispy. Let the bacon cool and reserve the fat. Combine the bacon fat with 750ml of Alabama whiskey in a jar. Seal and let it sit at room temperature for at least 4 hours or overnight. Once infused, place the jar in the freezer for 1-2 hours until the fat solidifies. Strain the whiskey through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the fat.
In a mixing glass, combine the bacon-washed whiskey, sugar, and bitters. Add ice cubes and stir well until chilled.
Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a bacon strip.
