Bottled Water

Method

Bottled Water

1

Chill bottle (if needed)

If the bottle is not already cold, place it in a refrigerator for at least 30 minutes prior to serving, or chill quickly by placing the sealed bottle in an ice bath for 5–10 minutes.

2

Prepare glass

If using a glass, ensure it is clean. Optionally add 4 ice cubes to the glass if you prefer your water chilled and not using a fully chilled bottle.

3

Open bottle

Hold the bottle upright on a flat surface. Remove any seal and carefully twist off the cap. Wipe the mouth of the bottle with a clean napkin if desired.

4

Pour

Tilt the glass slightly and pour the water from the bottle into the glass until it is at your preferred level. If not using a glass, the bottle can be consumed directly.

5

Garnish (optional)

If desired, squeeze the lemon wedge lightly over the water to release a few drops of juice, then drop the wedge into the glass. Optionally bruise the mint sprig gently between your fingers to release aroma and place it in the glass.

6

Serve

Place the glass on a coaster or napkin and serve immediately while chilled. If serving directly from the bottle, replace the cap between sips to keep it clean.

7

Storage

If you do not finish the bottle, close it with the cap and refrigerate. Consume opened bottled water within 24–48 hours for best freshness.

Serving Tools

8

Use a clean glass or cup for serving. A napkin or coaster helps protect surfaces and presents the drink neatly.
