Bread Pudding
Method
Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Bread Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the torn bread pieces, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix well until the bread is thoroughly soaked.
Bake the Pudding
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is set and slightly crispy.
Prepare the Grand Marnier Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of Grand Marnier. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly.
Serve
Once the bread pudding is baked, let it cool for a few minutes before drizzling the Grand Marnier glaze over the top. Serve warm.
