This pineapple-infused IPA starts off with a wave of tropical sweetness, but beware the bite there are aggressive hops lurking in the depths of this beer!

Heat 5 liters of water to 165°F (74°C) and add the pale and caramel malts. Maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, rinse the grains with hot water (about 170°F or 77°C) to collect the wort in your brew kettle.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil and add the Citra hops. Boil for 60 minutes, adding Simcoe hops with 15 minutes left in the boil.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly to about 70°F (21°C) using a wort chiller or ice bath.

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel, add the pineapple puree, and pitch the yeast. Seal and let ferment for 1-2 weeks.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and add to the beer. Bottle the beer and let it carbonate for 1-2 weeks.

Bottling

Chill the bottles, pour into a glass, and enjoy your INKredibly Juicy IPA!
