Method
Cocktail
Juices & Mix
Measure and pour 2 oz Plantation White Rum, 0.75 oz Disaronno, 2 oz fresh pineapple juice, 1 oz fresh orange juice, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
Bitters
Add 1 dash Angostura bitters to the shaker to add aromatic depth and balance the sweetness from pineapple and amaretto.
Add Ice & Shake
Add about 1 cup of ice to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is very cold and well chilled.
Garnish & Serve
Prepare Glass
Fill a double old-fashioned glass or tiki-style glass with crushed ice (about 1 cup).
Strain
Double-strain the shaken mixture over the crushed ice using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove small ice shards and pulp for a smooth finish.
Garnish
Garnish with a pineapple wedge and an orange wheel on the rim. Optionally add a cocktail cherry on a pick. Serve with a short straw.
